Nokia N95- High Five

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Adam_Caitlin]Adam Caitlin The five megapixeler featured in the Nokia N95 is probably the most talked about topic this year. Though there were rounds of news regarding a colossal 10 megapixel camera from one of its competitors, Nokia still manages to steal the show with the Nokia N95. There are many factors that goes to make a great camera than just its resolution. A high resolution image does not necessarily mean a sharp and blur free picture. Against popular conception, number of pixels, after a point of time, goes only to increase the image size, without effecting the picture quality. Other factors includes quality of lens, sensor, flash and natural variants like light and weather conditions. Thankfully, the integrated camera module of the Nokia N95 is not just high on its resolution, but also in all other aspect of digital imagery. The camera is fitted with Tessar lens crafted by world renowned Carl Zeiss Optics. Integrated flash could be put on, off, automatic or on red eye correction mode. Video photography with the Nokia N95 at 30 frames per second has the clarity of DVD. You can even add your imagination to the images and video footages you capture with the smartphone’s built in Video and Image editor and even a ‘Movie Director’ for automated video production. Sharing pictures and videos is even more easy than shooting them with the Nokia N95. Apart from the ‘traditional’ ways like MMS and Emails, the Nokia N95 supports ‘Nokia LifeBlog 2.0′ for a faster way to share your captured moments with the world. Camera apart, the Nokia N95 is a strong communication tool. This smartphone features HSDAP a technology faster than 3G for a new kind of fast mobile data connectivity. Quad-band GSM support, GPRS, EDGE, DTM, WiFi, Bluetooth, Infrared, USB the phone has it all and more. The Nokia N95 features a built in GPS navigation system with Map application to aid mobile professionals the class this powerhouse is basically aimed for. Can Small Restaurants Avoid Getting Eaten Up By Large Food Franchises? Part 2

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

By Kym Moore Lets face it; we are a nation of food critics committed to the ongoing search of delectable cuisines to satisfy our hungry palettes. Television channels like the Food Network, cooking segments on syndicated talk shows, restaurant magazines and guides, local and national news broadcasts, as well as newspaper sections and radio segments, echo our love for food. I am intrigued with one particular television program filming the host of the show, who is a culinary connoisseur, traveling to different cities nationally and internationally, focusing on the challenge of spending a certain amount of money per day on food. The amount that she has to spend must cover breakfast, lunch and dinner, including tax and gratuity. She asks many of the local residents in the places she visits, to recommend a good, affordable restaurant to eat at. The two things that tantalize a tourists taste buds are good food at an affordable price. So what if your restaurant is not a mega franchise? Use that to your advantage. Let your diners know that big things come in small packages! Exceed their expectations of your restaurant. Believe it or not, customers remember those little extras that keep them coming back. Since you may be at a disadvantage with “not” having a big advertising budget, here are 7 creative marketing strategies that you can implement right now: 1. Capitalize on advertising your cuisine, specialty dishes and prices. 2. Put a bowl at one end of your checkout counter and let patrons drop their business cards in it or have them sign up for a monthly drawing where youll be giving away a dinner for two. 3. Collaborate with a local spa, popular retail store, or local radio station to give away a FREE dinner for two in exchange for FREE advertisement. At times, some radio stations will post these little promotional plugs on their websites, especially if you advertise an estimated value. 4. FREE Food coupons are a great incentive to offer to other establishments for their top salespeople covering a designated contest period. (ie. car salespeople, insurance agents or other businesses employing sales associates.) 5. Email a Whats New newsletter to customers that would include daily specials, special holiday offers, availability of gift certificates/gift cards and special recipes. 6. On the back of some of your business cards, print an announcement that the cardholder is entitled to receive a FREE desert with an entre purchase. 7. If you offer catering services for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, retirement parties, etc., be sure to advertise this service. Having a small restaurant doesnt mean that you have to be small-minded. Think big and reap big profits from customers who entered hungry, but left full and enjoyed their dining experience. Custom Printing: How to Get the Photo Quality Results That Your Competitors Have

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Michael Joseph Your competitors’ custom printing projects have it - their marketing materials are vibrant, photo quality works of art. Even your smaller competitors with smaller marketing budgets have it. Their presentation folders and brochures, even their business cards are photo-sharp. How can they afford the photo quality results they get? Do they have a better marketing team? Guess what - they probably just know things you don’t. They know more about emerging photo quality commercial printing than you do. Can you get the same quality? Sure. But it comes from print vendors you might not expect and it doesn’t have to cost more. In fact, if you find the right vendors, photo quality custom printing can cost less than traditional color printing. How do you find these vendors and keep costs in-line? Let’s get up-to-speed on photo-quality printing. Then, I’ll offer a few tips to get you started. What You Should Know Photo quality custom printing is easy to understand. Printing done with a resolution of 2400 dpi or better is high photo quality. True 2400 dpi printing is what’s giving your competitor the edge. The competitor’s brochures that you envy were not printed at 1200 dpi then enhanced with software to look like 2400 dpi printing. No way. Your competitor knows better. Here are five things that your competitors know: True photo quality printing is reproduction of actual imagesNot all digital printing is true photo qualityVery few print vendors have true photo qualityLots of print vendors “fake” photo qualityMost photo quality commercial printing is done on a press not a copier Photo Quality Printing Can Save Money So-called photo quality printing of the past was done on digital presses, copiers and printers. These devices often require special toners, papers and press materials. Special materials mean higher costs. Enter the new era of digital presses. They print on almost any substrate and they use commonly available inks. Waterless inks are used in some digital presses which results in better ink hold out. Using common materials lowers cost. Your competitor has found vendors with these new presses. Right now, your competitor gets better printing and pays less than you do. Here’s what you can do. Find a Photo Quality Commercial Printing Partner Here are some quick tips for finding a photo quality commercial printer. Search the Web for “2400 dpi printing companies” not “photo quality printing companies”Learn about the pressesAsk the press manufacture for their customer listCompare the difference of a hard copy proof versus a soft copy proofCompare pricing does photo quality cost less or the same? Talk to photo quality printing press manufacturers, and ask for a list of potential vendors Use the list above and youll find true photo quality print vendors who print in true photo quality output. Get Free Samples from Vendors Once you do find a vendor, be sure to ask for samples. Do you see the difference in quality or more depth? If a vendor wont give you free samples, move on to the next vendor. And take the photo quality edge away from your competitors. STAGE 3 - The Worst Part of a Relationship - The War of Wills(C)

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Elaine Sihera The first part of this familiarisation stage is basically a war of wills. Each individual, being used to doing things his/her way, must now try their hardest to adjust to the ways of their partner. Each one will attempt to force the other to fit their expectations for the relationship, even though these may be unspoken and highly unrealistic. Because of the conflict involved in this counterdependent stage (mutual independence), we are now likely to see our partner more negatively than others would, a complete reversal of the besotment stage. The reasons we were unconsciously attracted to them in the first place may become the very irritants we now moan about, like a woman complaining that her once carefree husband is really irresponsible. At this stage arguments are bound to emerge. For example, the very things my husband loved me for at the beginning (looks, being a rebel and fiercely independent) are precisely the ones which grated on him at the end because he began to resent my growing confidence and success. Conflict kept within proper boundaries usually leads to greater understanding between spouses and the problem being resolved. However, if couples allow their arguments to degenerate into endless criticisms of one another and character assassination, the arguments soon strike at the very core of the other person and are strongly resisted. Such arguments are most destructive and painful precisely because they destroy the sense of trust and intimacy that has been built up. If arguments regularly lead to personal attacks, over time a couple will consider the atmosphere unsafe for openly discussing their inner desires, fears and needs, which means less and less talk exactly what happened to us. The only antidote to this destructive kind of act is to take turns listening to each other, to refrain from personal attacks and unending blame and be willing to risk speaking directly about genuine concerns. This familiarisation stage in the relationship is necessary in order to relate to each other as individuals; to see the union as an opportunity to journey together; to learn how to serve each others needs; to fight fairly and to allow win/win situations with dignity, while guarding individuality. Differing Perspectives of Progression Another source of conflict here is the possibility that one partner, who might fear commitment, is still in the attraction/besotment mode while the other has graduated to this territorial phase, seeking more stability and reinforcement. This mismatch can be painful for both parties, especially if any remedial action (like giving gifts to compensate or being too flippant or lighthearted) is perceived as not really addressing the issues, or are meant to be controlling the other partner even more perceptions which are likely to lead to a demand for even more space between the couple! At this stage winning and being right becomes more important than working together and building the loving, fulfilling relationship you both want. Demonstrations of love, respect and appreciation decline and might even disappear, first from neglect and then from hurt feelings. If enough distress builds up, you may just avoid your partner as much as you can. Or you may turn to something else: to work, to children, or any possible thing to meet your needs and avoid the distress. For some couples this stage can get to the point of desperation where theyve tried everything they know and it seems the only option is to get out of the relationship temporarily or permanently. But conflict can be a door to healing and personal growth because conflict is not the problem it has a root cause. What you do with it can be the big problem and finding a new partner often does not solve the problem either. If disagreements have not been addressed, you are likely to recreate the same problems and climate because of the expectations you carry with you and the type of person these are likely to attract. For example, if you tend to attract abusive types, specific problems relating to such a match are likely to repeat themselves in every relationship you have, especially if the roots of such problems are not addressed with honesty as early as possible. Russian Brides 101 - The Basics

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

By A. Hathaway Avoiding the Pitfalls of Fraud Most men agree that Russian women are some of the most attractive in the world, up there with the best of nations such as Brazil, Venezuela and Romania. But, is finding a beautiful Russian who is honest and legitimate, and who wishes to marry a Westerner a real option anymore? Fortunately, the answer to that question is still Yes. Finding those quality women, however, is an increasingly difficult task in today’s Internet marketplace. The best option for finding a Russian bride is to travel to Russia, explore and travel the country, get to know the culture and feel for the language, and take care of business the old fashioned way - that’s right, walk right up and talk to her. If she doesn’t speak English, you’re on to the next. If traveling to Russia is out of the question, for financial or other reasons, finding a beautiful Russian bride is still possible, but requires additional caution. Searching Google or Yahoo for Russian women will quickly uncover thousands of sites such as Date Russian Brides.com or Single Brides.com and many others. How do you know which is legit? You don’t. No dating site on the Internet is immune from fraud and international scam, not one. This knowledge alone can save the customer a lot of time, money and heartache. The warning signs: 1. A woman who falls in love quickly, too quickly. 2. A woman with model like photos, like out of a magazine. 3. A woman who soon asks for money for visa or “emergencies”. 4. A woman who writes very general, almost form-like letters. 5. A woman who never speaks about herself or her family. Now that you’re aware of the warning signs and you understand that fraud and scams from Eastern Europe are rapidly rising, you’re on the right track. But, what if the relationship progresses and you’re considering a serious committment? Get her checked out with a professional investigation from Wymoo. You’ve been talking with this woman for 6 months, and you trust her, you say. Too many victims have said the same, and still lost big. How does it happen? In short, the scammers are professionals. More than ever… be skeptical and get her checked out! Best of luck, A. Hathaway Copyright 2005-2007 A. Hathaway A. Tune Into The 10,000 Years of Exercise History for Ultimate Weight Loss

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

By Kevin Gianni Ungh (pronounced Un-Ga) the Caveman probably didnt have a Cybex home gym in his cave. Nor did he make cave drawings of his buddies doing bicep curls with two, 10-pound wild boars. Ungh was a mobile creature that relied on only one form of transportation. His feet. He hunted, gathered, dragged, lifted and flung whatever he needed to get through the day. That’s a far cry from punching away at the keyboard, picking up the phone receiver and carrying our lunch trays from the cash wrap to our table 20 or so feet away. Ungh, of course, is imaginary, but what he represents is the essence of this article and the path to optimal health. Because I brought up the Paleolithic age, does than mean I’m saying that we should live like cavemen? Absolutely not. Ill be the first to tell you that camping is a fantastic construct on paper or when its talked about at the dinner table, but put me out in the woods in a tent on cold earth and I long to be in my own bed in complete comfort. Our modern world offers so much luxury that it’s a burden to remove all of them such as the butcher, modern agriculture and the interstate system. Remember it probably took Ungh months to visit his Great Aunt in Hunderland. The purpose of this article is to give you back the power to control your fitness. There is so much information about weight training, cardiovascular training, heart rate, BMI, RMR, BMR, Body Composition, VO2 Max, etc. that the average person begins to think that exercise is actually a science. But do we as everyday people need to know about all that scientific stuff? Do we have to know how the plane flies in order to get to Fiji? Exercise is something that is inherent to us. It’s just something that were supposed to do–not to question its effectiveness. Kids know it. They run, play, wrestle and dig in the dirt without anyone telling them that its the right thing to do. They just do it. Its instinctual to move. I love watching kids run because it is such an unaffected motion. Take a freeze-frame picture of a kid running and put it next to the best Kenyan runner in the world and I bet you’ll see some eerie similarities. Running is a natural motion and our bodies know how to run and walk before they leave the womb even though our physical bodies cant. Many of the clients I work with on a regular basis have a very common dilemma. You might share it with them. They yo-yo. Lose the weight, gain the weight, lose the weight, gain the weight. One of the reasons this happens is because of the science of exercise. The science gives conflicting views and it demonstrates how people can lose the weight without really addressing the issues of long term maintenance for weight loss–or at least how to KEEP it off. When you’re scared that you’ll put the weight on, 9 times out of 10 you will put it on. Its about intention, focus and motion, not about science. People who come to me are afraid to even start working out because they feel that if they work hard and lose the weight that they’ll eventually put it back on and it will be a huge waste of time. Yikes. The philosophy of your exercise program should be simple. It should involve movement as a natural and everyday objective and take your busy schedule into account. This is why I dont think Im contributing to the flack we read everyday in womans and men’s magazines and mass produced fitness booksIm convinced theyre the same, just with different models and covers on the front. My contribution is that when we make motion our daily objective that we will in fact lose weight, be more productive and feel fantastic without having to think about what exercises get the best results in the quickest amount of time. I essentially want you to stop thinking about the challenge of putting exercise into your schedule and I want you to just do it–without much thought. Non-smokers never think about smoking cigarettes. Smokers always think about it. People who quit smoking manage to understand this construct. If you need to quit smoking you can’t make a big deal of it. You just have to stop thinking about cigarettes. Then you’ll be a non-smoker. I promise. Same with exercise. You have to stop thinking about being able to fit it in. It just has to fit. If it does, then you’ll succeed. Simple motion is the easiest way to get started and to get hooked. When we move, we feel vibrant and alive. Wouldn’t you want to feel like that–even if its just a few days a week? Sell More by Giving Something Away

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

By Dee Cohen When someone receives something of value for free, trust and good feeling naturally arise. Giving away a free item or service are very effective marketing strategies. They will acquaint a new person with your product and company plus can be a non-agressive means to re-contact former customers or clients. Whether you work off-line or online, are in private practice, part of a mlm or are employed by a corporation, giving away freebies works to increase business and distinguish you from your colleagues. For many people, there is a lot of discouragement due to gettingminimal results by placing ads randomly in various ezines, newspaper classified ads and website pages. Here are some concrete examples and strategies that have proven to be effective: 1) Many local newspapers will run without cost a free service listing in the announcements section. If you are a lawyer, consultant, massage therapist, chiropactor or have a related service set aside a 2 hour block on a Friday and send out a press release such as, “Dr Jinet will be available for free 15 minute phone consults Friday, Oct 13 from 3-5 at xxx-yyyy. 3) If you have sample sizes of an item, you can set up a booth at a local fair and distribute it for free with contact info enclosed. For a web-based business, a free ebook or report are good. Make yourself standout by offering e-mail consults on the ebook or report you give away. 3) As a social worker and yoga teacher, I was looking to expand my practice and classes. I wrote a 24 page booklet on Stress Reduction in Daily Life, incorporating tips from yoga, psychology and meditation. At a local health food store, I put them on the counter under the bulletin board. That week 2 new people attended my class and I received a new psychotherapy client. As added pluses, my therapy client gave the booklet to her best friend who began session. A month later a financial planner in my yoga class bought 500 booklets to give as a free Christmas gift to her clients with her sticker on the cover. She has re-ordered 500 booklets 2 years in a row and it has been a useful viral tool for her business. 4) Think outside of the box. If you see someone locally giving a seminar (or online doing a teleseminar) is there a package you can give them they can add as a bonus? Can you find someone already active with a mailing list, workshop or busy shop that can use a free item or service for their customers? Dee Cohen, a Social Worker and Certified Yoga Teacher. Exercise Heals Depression and Stress

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

By Maria Markella Why treat depression with antidepressants and other kind of medication when you can have better results by only exercising and performing regural physical activities? It’s a fact that exercising solves various health related problems and also empowers your brain and your mental abilities. Thus helping you beat depressive emotions and stress. I was passing by the APA’s (American Psychology Association) website the other day and I came across various clinical studies mentioning that depression can be treated very effectively with regular exercise. In fact, these guys at APA recommend to all psychologists to put exercise in their top list and to recommend it to all their clients. An interesting clinical study pointed out that not only exercise can beat severe depression, but it also helps stop depression from reappearing. The risk of depression and anxiety symptoms increases dramatically when people stop exercising. APA’s Psychologists say that it doesn’t really matter how much time you spend for exercise. What’s really importand is that you exercise very regularly (e.g. once or twice a day). Of course, people suffering from severe depression and anxiety should not just stop taking medicines or quit therapy and start exercising to cure their depression. But the benefits of exercising are enormous. According to the studies, if a person performs physical activities every day then the chances for the depressive symptoms to disappear are great. But how can exercise beat depression?. You know that a lot of people pay a visit to the gym after a stressful day at work. Remember that rewarding and calming emotion after a good workout? I’ve felt it. I bet you’ve felt it too. Why is that happening? According to the researchers it’s because exercise makes people happier and boosts their self-esteem. Now, if you’re suffering from depression you definitely display lack of self-confidence and low levels of self-esteem. And that’s where exercise really helps. By making you feel better for yourself and by giving you that feeling of acomplishment. It’s really simple if you think about it. You don’t need chemical antidepressants because regular exercise is your original, natural and effective antidepressant. The one that will relieve you from stress, anxiety and all depressive symptoms. Even if you suffer from severe depressive states you still have chances to beat depression only by exercising. But there’s a catch. People tend to go too far with exercise and over perform. They become obsessive and exhausted. That’s not a good thing when dealing with depression because you must always be strong enough to fight with yourself and your depressive symptoms. Exercise really drains your energy reserves and leaves you weak to face depression. In order to survive this you have to be balanced. You have to take small steps one at a time. That’s why it’s importand to consult an expert before taking exercise to a point of self-abuse. Exercise does improve your mental health and can heal your depression but you have to do it right. And take it easy. Let’s go through some of the key benefits of exercise in the struggle against depression: - Boosts your self esteem - Eliminates sad feelings - Promotes feelings of acomplishment - Increases productivity Consider the fact that 20 percent of the world’s population suffers from various depressive states. Consider the fact that 50 percent of the world’s population do not exercise at all. Most people suffering from depression are missing the number one natural and most effective antidepresant. Which is exercise. Not to mention that exercise is also the cheapest antidepressant of all! From here you can go to the American Psychology Association the National Institute of Mental Health or you can read more about the Natural and Permanent Depression Treatments that doesn’t involve any kind of medication or chemical antidepressants. The guy who wrote this guide conquered stress, depression and anxiety in just 90 days naturally and permanently. The Dating Pool - Are You Swimming Yet

Sunday, November 18th, 2007

By Jaci Rae Relationship…for some that word stirs up fears of commitment and for others it conjures up the idea of ever lasting love. For many on the dating scene “ever lasting love” is their ultimate goal but how do you find someone to go on a date with and once you do how do you go from date to relationship? Start Out Small & Slow While the person you’re dating may be looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right, they may not be looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right now, meaning pull in the reins and go a little slower. But let’s start at the beginning instead of jumping straight to the finish line. Let’s get back to the basics. To get back to basics, let’s start with a history lesson. Dating can be a scene right out of your high school memory banks. Many are haunted by memories of their first date and the nervous tension that resulted from the anticipation of it: “Did I pick the correct outfit?” “Will I smell good to them?” “Is my breath okay?” “What will I say during those awkward moments of silence?” Things haven’t changed that much since high school. Often the same questions come to mind and you will still get that same sense of nervous anticipation before embarking on a first date with someone. Dating can be a very intimidating time to even the most experienced and savvy dater. Recently I asked both men and women who dated frequently (3-4 times a week on average) if they still got first date jitters. The same answer echoed through 93% and that was a resounding, “Yes!” Amazingly enough, even those people who seemed confident and poised; those who seemed to have an endless amount of dating potential as well as a line of prospective suitors, still got first date jitters. So for those singles that still have troubling memories of their past dating experiences, how do you jump into the dating pool and begin to swim again? Unlike swimming in a pool filled with water, don’t dive into the deep end of the dating pool first, even if you remember how to swim. There may be sharks lurking waiting to attack. It’s always best if you begin in the shallow end of the pool. Start out small by meeting people in groups at functions until you feel comfortable enough to seek out a dating partner. After that hurdle is crossed then by all means dive right in to the dating pool! Finding People to Meet Where can you find a dating pool in your area? Because many people have a select group of friends, they tend to see the same people at all of the functions, B-B-Q’s, parties and other events. Same faces with the same stories that become all too familiar. So where do you meet compatible and available singles? Here are a few suggestions: Find charity events in your area and attend them. Look in your local paper for events that singles would go to. Social functions, chess caf’s, ice cream socials, etc. Find sporting clubs. (The kind of clubs that actually have participation such as water or snow skiing trips.) Take a specialty course at a junior college or community center.Go to your local coffee caf and sit on the comfortable chairs that are in the round to make conversation more likely. Check out reputable online dating services. Bratislava: Stag Weekend Heaven

Sunday, November 18th, 2007

By Brett Daneilson The Slovakian capital of Bratislava boasts a mingled atmosphere of Old World Charm and up to the minute chic energy that isn’t found anywhere outside the old Eastern Bloc cities. The combination of hot girls and cool prices have made Bratislava one of the trendiest places for a stag weekend on the Continent. The incredibly cheap prices (50p for a brew in a local pub) attract the trade, and in true capitalist fashion, the steady inpouring of randy stag partiers has attracted more activities, which in turn attract more Bratislava stag weekend business. The only problem you’ll be faced with when planning a stag party in Bratislava is which of the incredible array of activities to include on your itinerary. Let your Stag be your guide there. If he’s a fairly typical bloke, you’ll find all the traditional typical stag weekend activities in Bratislava. You can easily fill a Bratislava stag weekend with clay pigeon shooting, paintball tournaments, off track karting and 4×4 races. But you can get a real adrenaline buzz going in Bratislava if your mates are inclined to the more extreme end of the danger scale. Show the soon-to-be wedded man what married life is really like by taking bungee jumping to the next level with bridge swinging - a leap off the end of a bridge in downtown Bratislava. Or leap off into space in a different way with an afternoon at the Astro Trainer, a unique outdoor facility that was originally designed to help astronauts get a feel for floating in 0-G. And of course, no stag do is complete without the prerequisite night of clubbing till dawn. Every Bratislava stag weekend should include a brewery tour followed up by a night on the town in the company of scantily clad (and bound to get even more scanty) girls. You can dance the night away at any of the dozens of nightclubs and bars in the Old Town, or sit back with a drink and watch the tantalizing dancers put on a show just for you. If you’re in a gambling mood, you’ve even got your choice of five different casinos. In short, there’s a great deal to recommend Bratislava as a venue for a never-to-be-forgotten stag do. Unique activities, low prices and incredible scenery - of both the natural and the human kind - make it a stand-out on the list of places to check out.
